Proven Operations Experience
We currently operate more than 25 separate wastewater
treatment facilities on a contract basis. Here are a few
highlights of our Operations Department:
Ginguite Woods, Southern Shores, NC – 40,000 gpd
total reuse for landscape irrigation. An innovative design
by Quible & Associates, Inc. All unutilized permeable
surfaces are used for disposal.
Scarborough Lane, Duck, NC – Bioclere™ retrofit with
failing drainfield. Drainfield has returned to 100% of
design through proper operation and effective
secondary treatment.
Merial Select, Angier, NC - This Pharmeceutical
Research Facility is located in a rural setting with
development pressure surrounding the facility. A
growing concern about ground water (well)
contamination required abandonment of the lagoon type
system and replacement with a biological nutrient
removal plant. In 2000 Enviro-Tech and CES worked
very closely with John Salm of J. W. Salm Engineering,
Inc. and Pat Kramer of Aeration Products to design,
permit, manufacture and install wastewater treatment
and disposal for the Merial Select Sand Hills facility.
Villages at Ocean Hill, Corolla, NC - 160,000 gpd
conjunctive reuse facility. Operated for Enviro-Tech of
North Carolina, Inc. After ongoing moritoriums this
system was purchased and operated by the Enviro-Tech
group of companies and has had no problems since.
Swan Quarter - Engelhard - Spray irrigation lagoons
provide economy of scale to keep operation costs down.
Eagle Creek, Moyock, NC - Design flow to handle
360,000 gpd for a golf course reuse community using an
Airovac collections system.
Ocean Sands, Corolla, NC – 500,000 gpd system
being managed for Currituck County, this system utilizes
ground water infiltration disposal.

Frequently Asked Questions:
1. What is the Total Cost of an Operations Contract?
This is always the #1 question....but the real question needs to be “What is included in your contract, and what is ‘Extra’?” Remember, people can always give you a lesser price, but make sure that you are comparing “apples to apples” and be aware that a lesser contract price might just make up the difference in “added” costs.
Our agreements are “All inclusive”. We take full responsibility for your facility and ensure that you receive the results that you want.
Check to determine how lab fees will be handled. And what about emergency calls?...is this included in your contract and does the company have sufficiently trained, certified personnel within a reasonable distance from your facility? These are important things to know up front before venturing into an agreement. The key: Ask Questions Up Front!
